Family Camp Flapjacks
140g Golden Syrup
50g Light Muscovado Sugar
100g Mixed Dried Fruit (optional)
(Makes aprox. 12 bars)
Preheat oven to 180oC/gas 4/fan 160oC.
Grease 23cm square tin (or equivalent).
Put butter, syrup and sugar into a medium pan.
Stir over low heat until melted and sugar dissolved.
Remove from heat and stir in oats and fruit.
Press mixture into tin.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.
Allow to cool for 5 minutes in tin then mark into bars.
Cool completely in tin before removing and cutting into bars.
