INGREDIENTS
175g Butter 140g Golden Syrup 50g Light Muscovado Sugar 250g Oats 100g Mixed Dried Fruit
(optional) (Makes aprox. 12 bars)
METHOD
- Preheat oven to 180oC/gas 4/fan 160oC.
- Grease 23cm square tin (or equivalent).
- Put butter, syrup and sugar into a medium pan.
- Stir over low heat until melted and sugar
dissolved.
- Remove from heat and stir in oats and fruit.
- Press mixture into tin.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.
- Allow to cool for 5 minutes in tin then mark into
bars.
- Cool completely in tin before removing and
cutting into bars.
