INGREDIENTS
170g Self raising flour 85g Margarine or butter 85g Sugar 85g Sultanas 1 large egg pinch of salt enough milk to make a soft
consistency 14g Demerara sugar
METHOD
- Preheat oven to 180oC/gas 4/fan 160oC.
- Grease 6inch round tin (or equivalent).
- Sieve flour and salt then rub in Margarine.
- Stir in beaten egg and enough milk to make soft
consistency.
- Put in tin level surface and sprinkle with
Demerara sugar.
- Bake for 1 hour.
- Cool cake in tin.
