Family Camp and AGM

With a theme of medieval, over 70 beavers, cubs, scouts and their families took part in our bi-annual family camp at Skreens Park, Roxwell.

The sub camp of Black Knights took on the White Knights in a competition to rescue the princess imprisoned in the tower.  The tasks included Raft building to cross the castle moat (Skreens lake) , climbing the castle walls better known as the climbing tower and Archery.

On Saturday evening Visitors from district arrived and the King called the AGM to order.  The business was swiftly dealt with and a BBQ followed.

During the weekend the cook team kept us all well fed. Everyone had a good time and vowed to return in two years time.
